this was, and correct me if i am wrong, the second dragon quest series. the first one more famous, the adventures of fly. (out side of the US) this one was aired in Saturday mornings in the US, but got canceled after 13 episodes. the reason was because it was competing against the onslaught that was Sailor moon. it was aired in its entirety in Italy, and France and of course Japan. as with Harlock SSX and starzinger, it never has had a revival in the US market. The series is great. each episode is a level, or lebel like in the game and the character have to get a hold of magical items and such through out the series. I have been waiting for a fansub for years, at least just to see what happens after the cliffhanger we got left with so many years ago. AnBu… please…. don’t drop this.

You are wrong.

This is the first DQ series made. Fly was 2nd, and yes never aired in USA. Dragon Quest: Legend of Hero Abel has over 43 episodes (one of which is a total recap episode I believe). It was aired briefly in the US with a dub made by Saiban in the 90s, and only 13 episodes (of edited and cut glory) were ever aired.

We won’t drop it…so long as there is a Tora in a cage.

thanks for clarifying. I used to live in Puerto Rico so I got both Spanish and English tv. I saw Fly before I saw Able. Thats why I thought it was first. I am so glad that you guys have taken up this series. Hope you guys can finish it. thanks for your hard work.

oh thank god! I thought you guys are going to end up dropping this >w< thanks for the release. If you want a DDL destination I haven't had any problems with mediafire, more like it's the only one that I rely on for direct downloads nowadays.
